Welcome to our blog, we are a class of Year 6, 7 and 8 students, and our teachers are Mrs Hahn and Mrs Ealam. We are from Ahaura, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
In math we have been learning to convert between analogue, digital and 24 hour time. Here is a slide show about 24 hour time. Can you answer the questions or do you need a little help?
Created by Liam
Kia ora Liam, Mrs Hahn has shared your amazing work with me. I am SUPER IMPRESSED with your Google Slides sharing your learning about digital and 24 hour time. What I really like is that you have made it into a fun and interactive game. I am going to share this with other teachers and learners to inspire them to be creative in their presentation of their learning too. Keep up the great learning, creating and sharing. Ngā mihi nui Tania
Hi room six, Awahono school, I thought this was really cool! Did you create it on Powtoons? What did you use? Also, maybe you could add just a few more questions, and it’s a bit slow, unless you press the buttons, but overall, great work! If you would like to see my blog then go to https://pvsheidih.blogspot.com/ Or to my class blog at http://parkviewseniorsquad.blogspot.com/
Kia Ora Liam I am Manaaki from Parkview School in Christchurch I am so impressed with this slide! It Reminds me of the math slides we do. I really like how you gave examples and explained it if they did not get the answer correct. Maybe Next time you could say how long it took you to learn how to do this? Its really cool! Thanks for sharing with us! Manaaki at Parkview school
Kia ora room six, I am Jorja from Senior Squad at Parkview School. I like the way you can teach us how to tell a 24 clock. Did you think about putting more information about a 24 hour clock. Next time maybe show some work that you have done on a 24 hour clock. If you would like to see my learning blog, my learning blog is https://pvsjorjaj.blogspot.co.nz/ Kind regards Jorja from the Senior Squad at Parkview school.
Kia Ora Liam, my name is Aysha, I’m from Parkview school in Christchurch. I liked the way you added the questions instead of telling the answer straight away. Your slideshow reminded me of when I had to do 24-hour clock a few years ago and I was so confused by it. Have you thought of making other slides like this and posting them on your class blog? You did an awesome job on this presentation! -Aysha, from Parkview School.
Hello liam,i'm from parkview school my name is mahir I like you're slide show about time it fold alot f people in my class it gets people to learn how to read clocks. make sure to go on my blog mahir.blogspot.co.nz and my team blog team 4 blog and make sure to leave a comment.
ia ora Room 6 I Think that you did a great job with the slide and I really enjoyed the interactive experience that you created. Is that animation and if it is how did the guy move? Did you know that if you have 19:00 and you take away 2 from that you have 17:00 and then the answer is 7:00. Have you thought about putting some different ways of working then out? Imogen, Parkview School
Kia ora Liam I really liked your slide about 24 hour time, the questions were pretty tricky! It made me think about when I learnt about 24 hour time last year. Make sure all the slides are in order! Jasmine
Bola Bola, Room 6, Awahono School. Im Ella from Parkview Senior Squad. I love your digital slide I think the animation is very cool! How did you make it? Did you use Powtoon? If you didn’t use powtoon maybe next time you could try using powtoon! Kind regards Ella :)
I love your 24 hour time slide and think it is really cool and different way of teaching others in a fun way. I knew a little about 24 hour time and this slide filled me in with the rest of the information I needed to know. I noticed on slide 21 you had put ‘’tall’’ when I think you meant ‘’tell’’. That’s just a little mistake though keep it up- Max from Parkview School. My learning blog is https://max4818.blogspot.co.nz/.
My name is James I go to parkview school in chch. I am a year 7. I am stoked that was amazing. I like how you based it on time. Its learning + fun what did you do it on did you just do it on slide it looks like you did it on powtoon. I will look forward to seeing more just like these. If you would like to check my blog out down below is the link.

I Was Quite Interested with your Slideshow. I didn't Properly Know How to Read 24 Hour Time, and now i do! But how did you make the Slide? Google Slides? Powtoon? And i like how You made Professor Jenkins Move Through a Gif(I Believe that is how you did it) Also how did you Learn to Link the slides together? Maybe Next time your could add something in the Background, Since it looked slightly bland, but that's just nitpicking.
If you want to have a look at what i'm doing on my blog Go to http://jack4618.blogspot.com Check it out and please leave a thoughtful Comment!
Hey Liam! I love your slide. I got most of them right. Did you have to think hard to come up with the idea? What inspired you to make it? How did you think of those questions? Keira, Parkview School.
Hello Liam:) I love this I got a few wrong myself. I understand 24 hour time fully now. How long did it take you to make this slide? To be honest I have nothing helpful I have to say because it was so good:) Kayla

Kia Ora Liam, my name is Ella and i'm from Parkview Primary School. I really like your presentation, it has a lot of information and kindness, (what I mean by kindness is that you say just go and have another try and just encourage other people.) How long did it take for you to make it? Did you do this at school or in your own time? This Slide is very cool but there are some mistakes like tall instead of tell and just some of those little things, so maybe next time you could work on that. Other than that it is really amazing and I just want to say keep up the good work.
Hi Liam, Wow, this blog post is really cool and very helpful. I could tell you've spent a lot of time working on this. It's very differetn from other blog post because your not only reading but you get to work out the problems yourself. HOw long did it actually take you to do this slide? Because it look like a lot of effort has been out into it. Maybe next time, you should do something other than 24hr coverted into digital, but still set it up the same way. Great job though! :)
I really like your slideshow about the 24 hour clock.I really like the end when you said (ps i'm not meant to be teaching).Maybe next time put some colour into the back rounds, just a thought? Great effort!
Hi i'm Jasmine from New Brighton Catholic School I really liked the Gif of professor Jenkins, but maybe next time add some different backgrounds (For instance a lab.) overall your post was really good and cant wait to see what you do next. Keep up the good work!

Hi Liam i'm Grace and I really like how if you got it right you could go on but if you got it wrong they had to try again, you could put some other backgrounds next time to make it a bit more colorful.
